 THe one present moment

If Tennessee Williams is right - and I suspect he is - then it's little wonder that we look for any vessel in which to try and capture those fleeting present moments, to collectivise the random shards of experiences that make our whole....signposts, events, places, sounds, shapes, images, smells, all kinds of markers are used to navigate and cartograph the landscape of our memory. Music is one of those vessels, and I came at first to starting to write about music from thinking about key records which shaped what I listened to and how I listened to it. Some of these writings are reflections on mere moments, and others do signify particular times, events, feelings, changes of one sort or another, and others do just allow me to ramble on about how great something is. The rest is noise.......

 INstructions for use:

"Life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quickly you hardly catch it going" -Tennessee Williams

It's just an overblown sketch pad, a rarified jotter, a notepad that's really got rather up itself. The opinions expresssed herein are my own, and I think that might be the nub of the problem.......
